Methodology, sources and corrections
Everything SI says can be traced to a data source, a rule and a timestamp. This page shows all three.
What SI is
AGENT SI is a research agent with a brand character. “Super Intelligence” is the brand narrative, not a technical claim: the system is an orchestration of public data providers, deterministic rules and, optionally, a language model that rephrases verified findings. It does not predict prices, does not give trading advice and cannot prove that any token is safe.
Data sources
- DEX Screener public API: trading pairs, price, liquidity, volume, buy and sell counts, price change, pool creation time.
- EVM chain RPCs for Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663), Ethereum, Base and BNB Chain, public endpoints by default: contract code,
owner(), the EIP-1967 proxy slot,paused(), name, symbol, decimals and supply. Holder lists come from each chain’s Blockscout explorer where one exists; without one SI reports no data. - Blockscout explorers (keyless; Robinhood Chain, Ethereum and Base by default): the largest holders and the holder count, with exchange custody, pools and contracts separated from wallets by the explorer’s own tags and code checks.
- Etherscan API (when the operator sets a key; free keys cover Ethereum): whether the contract’s source is verified, who deployed it and when, and the newest token transfers. The key stays on the server.
- Solana RPC (public mainnet endpoint by default, or the operator’s own): the mint account (supply, decimals, mint and freeze authority, Token-2022 extensions), the 20 largest token accounts and their owners, and recent transaction signatures.
- SI memory: SI’s own previous scans of the same token, used only to report what changed.
Every figure in a report shows its source and when it was fetched. If a provider fails, the report says so and the related checks are marked “no data”. SI never fills a gap with an estimate.
Rules and thresholds
These are the exact rules in the running code. The table is rendered from the same constants the scanner uses.
| Area | Check | Logic | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Authority (Solana) | Mint authority | Active authority = high. Revoked = pass. | Solana RPC (mint account) |
| Authority (Solana) | Freeze authority | Active authority = high. Revoked = pass. | Solana RPC (mint account) |
| Control (EVM) | Contract owner | owner() returns a live wallet = medium (high when the code also has mint, pause or blacklist functions). Owner is itself a contract (timelock, multisig, controller) = low (medium with those functions). Renounced or no owner = pass. | Chain RPC (eth_call, eth_getCode) |
| Control (EVM) | Upgradeable proxy | EIP-1967 implementation slot set = high: the code can be replaced. | Chain RPC (eth_getStorageAt) |
| Control (EVM) | Bytecode functions | Blacklist = critical. Mint, pause or trading lock = high. Fee setters, trading switches, tx limits = medium. Wallet limits, cooldowns = low. Found by scanning the dispatcher for known selectors. | Chain RPC (eth_getCode) |
| Control (EVM) | Paused | paused() returns true = critical. | Chain RPC (eth_call) |
| Control (EVM) | Verified source | Source code published and verified on the block explorer = pass. Not verified = medium: what the contract does can only be inferred from its bytecode. Checked where an Etherscan key covers the chain. | Etherscan API (getsourcecode) |
| Token program | Token-2022 extensions | Permanent delegate = critical. Non-transferable, pausable or frozen-by-default = high. Transfer fee = medium (high above 10%). Transfer hook = medium. | Solana RPC (mint account) |
| Liquidity | Pool depth | Under $10K = high. Under $50K = medium. No indexed pool = high. | DEX Screener |
| Liquidity | Liquidity vs market cap | Liquidity below 2% of market cap = medium; a note only when liquidity is at least $1M, since large caps run low ratios on deep pools. | DEX Screener |
| Holders | Top 10 wallet concentration | Excludes pools, exchange custody, other contracts and burn. Above 50% = high, above 30% = medium. On EVM chains the largest holders come from the chain's Blockscout explorer; without one, no data. | Solana RPC (largest accounts + owners), Blockscout (EVM) |
| Holders | Holder count | 5,000 or more holders on record = pass. Fewer is a note, not a flag: concentration is judged separately. | Blockscout (EVM) |
| Holders | Largest single wallet | Above 15% = high, above 5% = medium. | Solana RPC |
| Age | Oldest pool | Under 24h = medium, under 7d = low. With no pool, the contract's deployment time is used where the explorer reports it. | DEX Screener, Solana RPC, Etherscan |
| Market | Turnover | 24h volume above 10× liquidity = medium. | DEX Screener |
| Market | Sell pressure (1h) | Sells at least 2× buys across 30+ trades = medium. | DEX Screener |
| Market | 24h price move | Down 50% or more, or up 300% or more = medium. | DEX Screener |
| Memory | Liquidity since last scan | Fell 30% or more since SI last looked = high. | SI memory (previous scans) |
Holder classification
For each of the 20 largest token accounts SI reads the owner. Owners that match an indexed pool address are labelled pools. Owners that are not valid ed25519 public keys are program derived addresses (pools, vaults, bonding curves, lockers) and are labelled programs. The burn address is labelled burn. The remaining owners are wallets, and only wallets count toward “top 10 wallets”. Owners that cannot be resolved are counted as wallets, which errs on the side of showing more concentration, not less.
Momentum
SI compares last-hour volume with the 24-hour hourly average. At 1.6× or more it reports acceleration; at 0.5× or less it reports cooling. Under $1K of 24-hour volume the market is treated as inactive.
Risk posture
- Critical: any critical finding, such as a Token-2022 permanent delegate.
- High: two or more high findings.
- Elevated: one high finding, or three or more medium findings.
- Moderate: at least one medium finding, or too little data to say more.
- Low concern: no medium, high or critical findings, with at least two thirds of core checks backed by data.
- Insufficient data: shown instead of moderate or low concern when fewer than half of the core checks returned data. SI does not guess.
“Low concern” means fewer known flags. It never means safe. SI never says buy or sell.
How verdicts are written
By default, verdicts are written by SI’s built-in rules engine, which assembles sentences from the findings. Every number in the text comes from the evidence. An operator can enable an optional language model; its output is discarded if it introduces any number that is not in the evidence, or uses forbidden language such as price predictions. Reports say which engine wrote them.
Known limits
- LP locks and LP burns are not verified yet. The Arena labels such claims not verifiable.
- Holder analysis covers the 20 largest accounts the RPC returns, not every holder.
- Token age uses the oldest indexed pool, or the oldest transaction found within a capped history walk. When history is capped, SI shows a lower bound.
- DEX Screener only knows pools it indexes. A token with no indexed pool is reported as having no measurable market.
- Public RPC endpoints are rate limited. Busy periods can leave checks without data.
Corrections
No corrections have been published. When SI gets something wrong, the correction is listed here with the date.
